Hangin' out with Dad

Cadence went with her dad to the Farmer's Market a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd try out my 'photo-blogging' skills...

Of course, if there's water, Cadence will find it

Posing :)

The Farmer's Market runs adjacent to the Millennium Arts Plaza, which is where Cadence is in the pictures. They close down a few blocks in the middle of town for the market for a few hours every Sunday from May to October. The Millennium Arts Plaza is a unique interactive sculpture of sorts that was part of a nationwide millennium arts project. The art reflects aspects of Yakima culture and heritage, and is always fun to play around. There are bronze cast tools, displays of local and native artwork, and, of course, water, so central to the Valley's agriculture. It's just an open plaza that anyone can visit at any time.
