View from across the street - state patrolman lives in the house to the right, and to the left the corner lot is empty
Standing just inside the front door - this is the playroom. There is a table on the wall to the right for coloring and playdohing and computering, and more toys under the window. The door to the girls' room is directly to the left, behind the open front door.
Standing in front of the window in the playroom - the open door in the center of the picture is the office. The closed door is a closet, and to the left of the closet is the girls' room.
The girls' room!
The office/craft room/spare bedroom. It's tiny, but we can squeeze the queen aero bed in as it is, or move the desk out for a little more elbow room.
The girls'/guest bathroom - almost directly across the hall from the multi-purpose room
Dining room and kitchen
Family room - taken from the dining room
Family room and hallway leading to master bed and bath taken from the kitchen. You can see the door to the girls' bathroom and hallway leading to the playroom to the right, and the doorway on the wall with the wreath leads to the laundry/utility room and door to garage.
Laundry/utility room - door open to finished (insulated and sheet rocked) garage
Hall to master bed and bath - bath is on the left
Master bath - the tub is HUGE - I can lay completely out and float; it's glorious!
Master bedroom
Walk-in closet
Backyard - from the sliding glass door
Backyard from out by the swing setSo there it is! Like I said, we're still putting it together, but it's coming along nicely. We have so much SPACE! It's wonderful. :) We want to do some landscaping still, put in a couple of trees, maybe a deck off the patio, cover the patio/deck, plant a vegetable garden and some grapes... Lots of fun dreaming up what our house will become! The girls have slept better than they ever did in the apartment from night one, and Cadence is always commenting on how much she likes her new house and her new room. We've got a sideboard ordered that matches our dining table (it's so nice to not have to eat off our laps anymore!) that we're going to use as TV console. I'd like to put a double papasan in the playroom, but, we'll see. We get lots of sunlight during the day, which is helping to keep the house comfortable without turning on the heat, but I can see it maybe being a problem in the summer. Have to wait and see! Anyway, it's fun, and it's OURS!! Visitors are welcome anytime!
Oh, and although some of the walls look like they are painted blue, they are not. The whole interior, with the exception of the two front bedrooms, is painted a calm green color, and the two bedrooms are a brighter green.
